DARKNESS DARKNESS presents: Boards of Canada - Inferno
Join us for the sixth in a series of social album listening sessions in the dark. Experience a critically acclaimed album each session from well known (and some not so well known) artists spanning many genres and decades, played back in a lossless format through high-end audio gear.
We'll be turning off the lights and letting you relax on sofas and armchairs, with the intent to focus purely on the music, revealing detail and emotion weaved into the songs that too often sadly goes unheard.
Fifth album: ’Boards of Canada - Inferno’
After thirteen years of silence the Scottish brothers return to a world that darkened while they were away. The continuous mix is intended as a long form listening experience, layering eerie samples of half remembered voices with rich analog synths to paint a sometimes nostalgic landscape of the past and present."
