In his songs, Mavi Phoenix combines elements of electropop, alternative hip-hop, and rock, often exploring questions of identity. His debut EP My Fault was released in 2014, followed by a tour supporting Bilderbuch. The single Quiet reached number 1 on the FM4 charts in 2016, and the second EP Young Prophet followed in 2017. With Aventura and the international recognition it brought, he played numerous festivals around the world. The sequel Young Prophet II, featuring standout tracks like Bite and Prime, was released in 2018.
At the beginning of 2020, Mavi joined the Kassel band Milky Chance on their European tour. His debut album Boys Toys was released in April of the same year, reaching number 18 on the Austrian charts and earning him his second Amadeus Austrian Music Award.
That same year, Mavi came out as transgender, followed by the LP Marlon and his third album biggest asshole in the room.
The punk-driven Kook EP appeared in 2024, with the singles World’s End and Free each topping the FM4 charts.
In 2025, Mavi Phoenix released his fourth studio album Drama Cowboy — a bold, genre-defying work divided into two acts. Expanding his sonic universe once again, the album — divided into two acts — blends his signature mix with unexpected country slide guitars. Drama Cowboy is both a performance and a narrative, showcasing Phoenix’ flair for experimentation and emotional storytelling.

Filly gehört zu den frischen Stimmen, die gerade eine sehr eigene Spur im Hyperpop ziehen. Ihr Sound bewegt sich irgendwo zwischen Pop, Drum & Bass und elektronischen Spielereien – manchmal frech, manchmal verspielt, manchmal ganz direkt.
Mit ihrer Debütsingle „Motorola“ hat sie sofort Aufmerksamkeit bekommen: nicht durch große Gesten, sondern weil etwas an ihrer Mischung hängen bleibt. Filly klingt nach Zukunft und nach Throwback zugleich – mal nahe bei Künstlerinnen wie SOPHIE oder Charli XCX, mal angelehnt an klassischen Pop, der sich nicht dafür schämt, eingängig zu sein.
Was ihre Musik ausmacht, ist weniger das Etikett, sondern die Haltung: ein offener Zugang zu Stil, Identität und Ausdruck. Filly lädt dazu ein, das Eigene auszuprobieren, Unsauberes mitzudenken und die Ecken mitzufeiern.
