Mamal Kianipour fled from Iran at the end of 2015 and arrived in Innsbruck at the beginning of 2016. He has been living in Innsbruck for eight years, and for him, this flight and immigration experience was life-changing. In the summer of 2022, he met Ali Jahed, a musician who also arrived in Innsbruck from Iran. After getting to know each other for a few months, they started the project Bazaar+, a band that blends electronic music with live instruments. They successfully performed at various stages and festivals last year. Their different immigration backgrounds led to the creation of Nachbarshof, a project that combines live music and dance performances to explore the theme of immigration.

This 40-minute live show aims to highlight various aspects of immigration from diverse backgrounds, focusing on the stages that immigrants may experience. Nachbarshof delves into immigration themes through an artistic lens, aiming to discuss immigration not through conventional news or report formats but through art. As immigrants themselves, they aim to express not only their personal experiences and perspectives but also a general viewpoint common to most immigrants.

The music for Nachbarshof is a result of Bazaar+.

Accompanying them in this project is dancer Maryam Sheidai and Sheyda Collective.
