The Dramatization of this well known book gives insight into 24 hours of life of youngster Holden.
He is recently fired from prestigious boarding school. He tries to chase away the deepening feeling of loneliness. He thinks back about his younger brother Ali, who died on leukemia. Escalating emptiness and loneliness drives him to the decision to fly by hitchhiking to the west of US and start a new life. He wants to say goodbye to his young sister Phoebe. But she decides to go with him. And finally, she is the reason for Holden to come home with her.
